About the Role:As a Commissioning & SET Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful energization and handover of our cutting‑edge photovoltaic power plants. You will oversee all aspects of the commissioning and start‑up (SET) process for substations and associated electrical infrastructure, guaranteeing compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project timelines. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Commissioning
Activities:
Lead and manage the on‑site commissioning and start‑up (SET) activities for photovoltaic plant substations, ensuring all procedures are executed safely and efficiently.
- Develop & Implement Commissioning Plans: Create, review, and approve detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists in accordance with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Coordinate Stakeholders: Liaise effectively with project managers, engineering teams, construction crews, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless integration and timely execution of commissioning tasks.
- Technical Oversight: Provide expert technical guidance on electrical systems, protection relays, control systems, and SCADA integration within the substation environment.
- Safety Management: Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all commissioning activities comply with Eosol Group's safety policies, local regulations, and client requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and verify the quality of work performed during commissioning, ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning process, implementing effective solutions to minimize delays.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all commissioning activities, including test results, progress reports, and final handover documentation. Prepare detailed reports for project management and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Motivate, guide, and mentor the commissioning team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work environment.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, installation, and successful commissioning of substation components.
- Client Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for clients during the commissioning phase, providing regular updates and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the commissioning workflow and contribute to the development of best practices.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in commissioning and start‑up (SET) of electrical infrastructure, with a strong focus on substation projects.
- Proven experience in renewable energy projects
, specifically in the photovoltaic sector, is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in substation commissioning
, including testing of high voltage equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, switch gear), protection relays, control systems, and SCADA.
- Possession of a valid US work visa is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher), both oral and written, is crucial for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.
