Paris Off-Cycle Internship - Industrials Team

Position: 2026 Paris Off-Cycle Internship - Industrials Team (July / September 2026 start)
Evercore's Paris-based Industrials team is seeking a highly motivated Off-Cycle Intern to join for a 6-month internship. This is a front-office, execution-focused role offering meaningful exposure to live M&A and strategic advisory cross-border mandates. The role is suited for an ambitious, analytical, and entrepreneurial individual aiming to build a long-term career in investment banking.

Primary Responsibilities

Evercore Off-Cycle Interns are highly motivated individuals and must demonstrate the ability and desire to learn and work hard. They will form an integral part of a deal team, and be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

* Industry and company research and analysis

* Analysis of company accounts, profit & loss and cash flow information

* Assist in the preparation of financial models to value and analyse companies or assets in the sector

* Support with the management of certain aspects of transaction processes and marketing material preparation

* Assist with interpretation of financial and industry operational information

* Support with preparation of detailed financial and strategy presentations

Off-Cycle Interns typically work as part of small teams and will need to demonstrate:

* A strong interest in corporate finance

* Knowledge of financial modelling and problem-solving skills supported by attention to detail

* Project management skills

* Independence, confidence and self-motivation

* Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments in parallel

* An interest in the industrials and A&D markets and adjacent industries

Specific Qualifications

* Undergraduate degree or higher, with a major in Finance, and a strong academic track record

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to articulate ideas, both written and oral

* French speaker

* Prior internship experience in M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Development or Strategy Consulting is mandatory

* Enthusiastic, outgoing and achievement-oriented character

* Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge; familiarity with other common investment banking application (e.g. Bloomberg, Fact Set, etc.) is a plus
