About the Position

D&S Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community‑based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position is full time with the following schedule:
Friday 2:45 p‑11:30 p, Saturday & Sunday 9:30 a‑9:30 p or Friday 11:30 p‑9:30 a, Saturday & Sunday 9:30 p‑9:30 a. Site location:
Wilburn – Paris, TX.

• Rate of pay: $9 per hour with $1 shift differential for weekend shifts only.

• Assist people with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Facilitate development goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships and help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.

• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history without restrictions; access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
• No GED or high school diploma required.
