Overview

Paris Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Trauma Registrar. The role focuses on maintaining accurate trauma registry data.

• Collect, enter, retrieve, and report data related to all trauma patients.
• Ensure all necessary demographic and clinical information is entered accurately and on time.
• Code injury severity for all traumatic injuries using notes and record reports.
• Assign diagnostic and procedural codes, maintain and update the trauma database.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment; ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Medical terminology and anatomy knowledge advantageous.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education required after hire.
• Minimum 1 year clerical/data entry experience.

5x8, Day shift (8:00‑17:00), Monday‑Friday.
