Akur8 is looking for a motivated, curious, and passionate Platform Engineer to join our Platform Operations team in Paris.
You will play a key role in accelerating the application lifecycle by building internal platform capabilities (tools, paved roads, and reusable abstractions) that make it easy for feature teams to ship reliably and safely, in a dynamic and international environment and collaborating daily with product/R&D teams to continuously improve developer experience, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Your regular responsibilities shall include but are not limited to :
Developer Enablement & Internal Tooling- Fluidify the lifecycle of our applications by designing and developing internal tools, CLIs, and abstractions that reduce cognitive load and operational friction for feature teams.

- Pilot our AWS environments (laying the foundations of our infrastructure and maintaining the infra supporting our products) and our Kubernetes clusters, managed through Terraform with rigorous engineering standards (versioning, reviews, testing)
- Ensure our platform remains secure, scalable, and consistent across environments, while keeping infrastructure changes auditable and reproducible.
- Because Akur8’s platform must support massive ML compute workloads, continuously optimize the environment to keep the right balance between performance, scalability, and cost control. This includes capacity planning, right-sizing, workload optimization strategies (where relevant), and building the right visibility to make cost a first-class engineering signal.
- Help spread Cloud Native culture and SRE practices across feature teams observability, CI/CD, and reliability habits that scale.
