Job SummaryOperate and set up both primary and secondary millwork machines independently. These machines are used to cut, shape, and surface wood-based materials for the production of cabinets, doors, trim, tables, specialty fixtures, and more.
Responsibilities- Selects, installs, and adjusts saw blades, cutter heads, boring bits, and other devices in respective machines.
- Reads and interprets drawings, cut lists, schematics to verify machine settings and materials match component specifications.
- Starts machine and makes trial cut.
- Verifies dimensions of parts for adherence to specifications.
- Operates computer system and machine programming.
