Licensed Practical Nurse – Licensed Vocational Nurse Position Summary. As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

• Patient Populations Served:
  Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
• Protected Health Information Accessed:
  Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
• Exposure:
  Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is present for all employees.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Education: Graduate of accredited LVN program.

License: Current LVN license in state of practice; BCLS required;
Handle with Care preferred.
