American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 3 Trauma center, requiring a TX or compact RN license and prior OR experience.
Requirements- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- AHA certifications required (BLS and other required certifications per facility checklist)
- Prior Operating Room experience required
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
- Operating Room unit within a 154-bed hospital serving Northeast TX and Southeast OK
- Level 3 Trauma center with a Level 1 NICU
- Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability
- Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center
- Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week assignment length
- Facility recognized for top 5% national orthopedic outcomes
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility for consideration as a travel assignment
- Candidates who worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
