Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Manage the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, and dairy, frozen food, bread, and thaw and sell bakery products.;
Assist Store Manager with inventory management, merchandising presentation, and customer service.;
Train associates in proper handling of perishable products and safety compliance.;
Record Perishable Markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences; manage stock levels and replenishment.;
Ensure sanitation standards and safety compliance in Perishable departments.
