Position Overview
Red River Outdoor Living is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Account Manager to help homeowners and commercial clients bring their outdoor visions to life.
As an Account Manager, you will guide clients through the entire sales process—from the initial consultation and project discovery meeting to proposal presentation, contract execution, and successful project handoff to production. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients make informed decisions while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role combines sales, relationship management, project consultation, and problem‑solving. Successful candidates enjoy meeting new people, building trust, creating solutions, and helping clients improve the places where they live, work, and gather.

Key Responsibilities- Generate and manage sales opportunities through company‑provided leads, referrals, networking, and prospecting efforts
- Meet with residential and commercial clients to understand goals, priorities, budgets, and project requirements
- Conduct site evaluations and gather information necessary to develop project recommendations and proposals
- Develop and present professional proposals that align with client goals and company standards
- Follow up consistently on active opportunities and maintain accurate records within company software systems
- Build long‑term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the sales and project process
- Achieve individual sales, revenue, and gross profit goals
- Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen existing client relationships
- Represent Red River Outdoor Living professionally in the community and marketplace
- Participate in company meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to company values
- Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant professional experience
- Experience in sales, account management, customer service, business development, construction, landscaping, outdoor living, real estate, home services, or related industries
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
- Ability to build trust and create positive client experiences
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable learning technical products, services, and construction processes
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to use tablets, smartphones, and cloud‑based business software
- Self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability and follow‑through
- Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to work independently while meeting goals and deadlines
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass pre‑employment and random drug screenings
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed
- Ability to safely navigate construction sites and outdoor environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions
Competitive base salary plus commission and performance incentives. Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and performance.

Monday – Friday
