The Finance / Sales Manager ensures that the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and gross profit objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis while generating additional revenue through the sale of finance and insurance products.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop monthly projections and establish unit sales, gross profit, and departmental profit objectives for the 90-day sales period.
- Sell financing, extended warranties, and aftermarket products to customers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with multiple finance sources and submit all finance deals for approval.
- Meet daily with sales staff to review results and plan activities.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to salespeople.
- Verify and process all paperwork including title, lien information, taxes, insurance verification, deposits, and trade payoffs.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents immediately.
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Degree or commensurate experience in finance.
- Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
- Computer knowledge preferred.
- Professional personal appearance.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
