Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete on a variety of projects including roads, sidewalks, curbs, foundations, slabs, and other concrete structures. This position requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in outdoor environments.

• Set forms that hold concrete to desired pitch and depth.
• Pour, spread, and level concrete using rakes, shovels, hand tools, and power tools.
• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using floats, trowels, and screeds.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Apply finishing techniques including broom finish, edging, and joint cutting.
• Monitor curing process and apply curing compounds as needed.
• Repair and patch damaged concrete surfaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and project specifications.
• Ensure work is completed according to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Work closely with supervisors, equipment operators, and labor crews.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

• Previous experience as a concrete finisher or related construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read measurements and construction plans.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime when needed.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
• Must be able to wear required PPE including hard hat, gloves, safety vest, and work boots.
• Outdoor construction and roadway environments.
• Exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and changing weather conditions.
