Social Services Director Geriatric

Avir at Paris, a dedicated provider of exceptional care and support, is seeking a qualified Social Services Director with Geriatric Experience to join our team in Paris, Texas. As a part-time Social Services Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents and their families. • Provide social services to respond to the emotional needs of residents and their families
• Assist with resident admissions and referral process
• Develop and implement programs to meet the social, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a positive facility culture
• Manage and supervise social services staff as needed

• Master's degree in social work
• At least one year of experience working in geriatrics
• Valid Driver's license
• Licensure required
• Previous experience with Nursing Homes preferred
