Overview
As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pickup. You work within approximately 150 miles of home, lifting and carrying residential waste and depositing it into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to the management team.
Each day, you are on the road and not stuck in an office.
- Safely operate around 150 miles of home
- Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
- Carry out other duties as needed or instructed
- Home Daily
- Monday–Friday
- Additional hours may be needed
- Shift is 10–12 hours

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class B driving experience
- No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years
- CDL Class A/B
