As a Wendy's Team Leader, you will be instrumental in creating a remarkable customer experience. In this role, you will help set the standard for outstanding service while ensuring that the famous Wendy's quality is upheld. You'll support the Assistant Manager and General Manager in making sure daily operations run efficiently and align with Wendy's high standards.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Delivering exceptional customer service and upholding company standards.
- Leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced setting, ensuring food safety protocols are meticulously followed.
- Creating weekly schedules, ordering supplies, and assisting the management team with training, recruiting, promotions, and planning.
- Performing cashier duties in the dining room and drive-thru, as well as taking orders outside.
- Overseeing food quality, safety, and sanitation, including receiving shipments and managing proper storage of goods.
- Training, monitoring, and reinforcing food safety practices.
- Ensuring that the restaurant and equipment meet Wendy's expectations.
- Following proper opening and closing procedures.
- Maintaining the safety of both guests and employees.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Obtain a food handler's certificate based on state or local requirements.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Professional appearance and good hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, arrive on time, and be dependable.
- One year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Able to contribute positively to the team while maintaining a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrate a friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
- Interact in a courteous, helpful manner with guests and co-workers.
- Strong verbal, reading, and math skills.
- Effectively communicate ideas, suggestions, and concerns in a constructive manner.
- Make timely decisions to satisfy guest and business needs effectively.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
- Infuse energy and drive into meeting customer demands.
- Take ownership of responsibilities and find solutions to challenges.
- Able to lift 10-40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, and stand or walk for long durations.
