Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities.
This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Job Description Key Accountabilities- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs.
- Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility.
- Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs.
- Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services.
- Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
Shift Times: 1st shift: 6am-2pm 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm 3rd shift: 10pm-6am
Qualifications- Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
- 3-5 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment
- College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
