• Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck; may utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment as needed.
• Operate under direct supervision; handle basic issues and problems.
• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and packages them properly.
• Loads and unloads trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts and identify, hold, and segregate defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions when required; perform general clean up.
• Inspect forklift at the beginning of each shift and report issues to the supervisor or designated personnel.
• Participate in health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives and requirements; support and comply with these programs.
• Assist in other duties to support the operation as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor near heavy machinery.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, read and write French)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. for 100 feet
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Previous forklift experience
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
• Safety mindset

Preferred Requirements:

• Use of handheld measuring tools
• Basic computer skills and knowledge (e.g., database programs and Microsoft Office)
