Fleet Maintenance Administrative Assistant - Year Round

** PURPOSE OF POSITION:
** Providing administrative support for the operations of our vehicle repair shop. This position is critical to ensuring an efficient workflow by managing work orders, tracking vehicle repairs, and serving as the primary point of contact for shop-related needs. By minimizing distractions to technicians and maintaining accurate records, the Vehicle Shop Administrator contributes to the overall success and productivity of the shop.

** RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Act as the customer-facing representative, ensuring technicians remain focused on tasks without interruptions.

Gather information on repair needs and assign tasks to the appropriate technician.

* * Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

*** Flex Year Round - may have periods of layoff or reduced hours
** PAY RATE:
*** Pay: $20.00 - 25.00 per hour, dependent on experience

- Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair is an asset.

- Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and vendors.
