Carv is a sports technology startup that offers real‑time ski coaching through smart trackers that attach to ski boots, with a mobile app that sends coaching feedback through headphones. Carv is a new venture in the fast‑growing sports‑tech industry, and this internship is a key part of launching the company’s first US office.

About the role

The internship focuses on Membership & Sales, Product and Logistics, helping to build the new North American office and shape its culture. You will work closely with teams in London and Innsbruck, and bring a customer‑experience focus for the US market.

What you’ll do

• Process and respond to customer queries across all Carv communication channels
• Handle incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, product questions and general customer concerns
• Work cross‑functionally with other departments during rotations
• Provide member insights to the Product team, influencing product decisions from day one
• Help establish and document processes for the Park City office
• Serve as a cultural ambassador, bringing local knowledge to a global team

Qualifications and skills

• Outgoing, articulate, confident communicator in person, phone and email (English fluency required)
• Highly organized, able to manage workload independently
• Strong problem‑solving skills and clear communication
• Patient and professional with difficult customers
• Proactive mindset, self‑starter, initiative minded
• Collaboration ability with independent self‑management
• Comfortable building and refining processes in a new setup
• Thrives in fast‑moving environments and adapts well to change
• Computer literate, good Google Workspace knowledge, quick to learn internal software
• Genuine love of skiing with some knowledge of ski technique or equipment
• Based in the US, legal US citizenship or right to work, able to cover US time‑zone shifts including evenings and weekends
• Early adopter of AI, using it in personal or professional projects

Duration

• The internship runs from October 2026 through April 2027.
• Four‑teen working days per week in the Park City office; 37.5 hours per week on a rota with other interns; includes evening and weekend shifts.

Remuneration

• $17 per hour
• Opportunity to work from Carv’s newest office
• Potential contract including accommodation for the entire internship
• Season pass for local ski resorts
