One part-time position at 33 hours per week for 178 contract days for a full school year
Responsibilities:- To provide support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care and instruction of special needs students in the regular classroom or in a self-contained classroom;
- Assisting in implementing plans for instruction;
- Monitoring student behavior during non-classroom time;
- Providing information to appropriate school personnel;
- Attending IEP meetings.
- Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience working with children in an educational or organized learning environment.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs is desirable.
Based on the Education Support Professional Salary Schedule $28.08 per hour starting hourly rate (Salary placement is based on related experience - prorated based on start date); plus insurance and retirement benefits
