Job Description
A Medical Assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This involves caring for patients with acute and chronic needs and communicating clearly with patients who seek care through telephone and in-person interactions.
Shift DetailsFull‑time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts split between two locations.
Unit/LocationPark City and Heber Valley Pain Management Clinics.
RoleAs a Medical Assistant at Intermountain Health, you will support our clinical team and help ensure patients receive the best care by:
- Providing patient care under the direction of the clinician, assisting the provider to gather information related to the visit and condition.
- Communicating clearly with patients during telephone and in-person interactions.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams on patient care, with attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers (must obtain prior to start date).
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program, or 1 year of Medical Assistant Experience, or current RN/LPN license.
Hourly rate $19.31 – $26.22, dependent on experience.
