Job Description

A Medical Assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs. A Medical Assistant will be responsible for communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in‑person interactions.

Full‑time (40 hrs/wk – Tuesday to Friday 4×10 hr shifts)

Park City Endocrinology Clinic – Park City, Utah

• Provide patient care under the direction of the clinician; assist the provider in gathering information that is relevant to the patient’s visit and condition.
• Communicate clearly with patients seeking care through telephone, video, and in‑person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate patient care, paying attention to detail and follow‑through to ensure quality.

• Medical Assistant Resident: Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Medical Assistant: Current BLS certification (must be obtained prior to start date). Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program

  * * 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
  ** or
  * * current RN/LPN license.

Hourly: $19.31 – $26.22, depending on experience.
