Assistant Director of Food and Beverage

Overview

Waldorf Astoria is looking for an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to join the Park City team! With 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, this award‑winning Forbes 4‑Star boutique property offers elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions from around the world.

• Assist in the management of all Food & Beverage operations across the 3‑meal restaurant, seasonal pool restaurant, banquet operations, and 24‑hour in‑room dining, ensuring exceptional guest service and financial profitability.
• Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
• Develop and implement menus and food & beverage marketing strategies in partnership with the Director of Food & Beverage and the culinary team.
• Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
• Recruit, interview, and train team members.

• 3–5 years of F&B management experience; a luxury hospitality background strongly preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, strong team‑building skills, and a passion for developing and inspiring others.
• Demonstrated commitment to hospitality, integrity, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer‑focus abilities.
