Housekeeper

• Perform all daily tasks associated with housekeeping duties including cleaning and resetting guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
• Change linens; make beds; conduct turndown service in the evenings.
• Organize collateral on tables; straighten furniture; clean, dust, and vacuum rooms and public areas.
• Empty trash; stock satellite closets; provide and retrieve linen supplies.
• Be courteous and helpful to hotel guests, report guest requests or preferences, and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by supervisors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the normal scope of duties based on business needs.

• Promote a positive image of the property by displaying a pleasant and upbeat personality during each guest interaction and be comfortable responding to and carrying out guest needs and requests.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• A high school graduate or equivalent vocational training preferred.

• Stand, walk, handle or feel objects, tools; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk and hear; reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally climb or balance. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and sometimes up to 25 pounds. Exert physical effort to clean several rooms or areas per shift.
