Job Summary

The Hotel Engineering Supervisor will report to the General Manager at Main & Sky and oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep of the hotel’s facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and guest‑friendly environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily mechanical and electrical servicing, repair, and maintenance in an efficient, discreet, and guest‑friendly manner.
  • Address machinery malfunctions immediately to ensure prompt repairs.
  • Plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations, minimizing impact on the guest experience.
  • Fabricate and repair furniture and fixtures to maintain a well‑maintained establishment.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests.
  • Provide technical guidance, oversee project design and implementation, and collaborate with other departments.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets, monitoring progress and addressing concerns.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and evaluate individual and team performance.
  • Safely perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, and other hands‑on tasks; coordinate with contractors when necessary.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as an engineer in a hotel environment; management experience preferred.
  • Experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC, and related systems is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be available for on‑call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
