Job Summary
Vice President of Development and External Relations – Reporting to the CEO, this role leads the People’s Health Clinic’s fundraising strategy, donor relationships, and external communications. The VP is responsible for building a sustainable culture of philanthropy and quadrupling philanthropic revenue over five years.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy focused on individual giving, major gifts, grants, and long‑term donor partnerships.
- Lead the organization’s shift to a relationship‑based philanthropy model.
- Guide external communications with donors and stakeholders, crafting compelling storytelling and impact reporting.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align development initiatives with the clinic’s mission and community impact.
- At least eight years of experience in development, fundraising, or related fields.
- Proven track record of building sustainable fundraising programs and cultivating donor relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Salary range: $140,000 – $160,000.
