Summary

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is located in the famed Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development that will incorporate 17 ski lifts, roughly 1,600 residential units, eight hotels with a total of about 1,350 rooms, 250,000 sq ft of conference and retail space, and one of the largest ski beaches in the world.

The property includes 436 luxury accommodations—including 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units—30,000 sq ft of versatile indoor meeting space, a lobby‑level three‑meal restaurant, bar, signature bar, pool, après‑ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pools, three whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area. The Food and Beverage Server plays a key role in creating the restaurant experience: they submit guest menu selections, present food and beverage preferences, offer menu recommendations from the hotel’s range of cuisine and drink options, engage in casual conversation with guests, and maintain a sanitary dining environment.

General restaurant preparation and ongoing cleanliness are also part of the position.

The Food and Beverage Server is responsible for submitting guest menu selections, presenting food and beverage preferences, offering recommendations, engaging with guests to create an outstanding dining experience, preparing the restaurant for service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment throughout the shift.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a genuine desire to satisfy guests in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Possess refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Be flexible with scheduling and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Have the physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Have previous food service experience (hospitality and/or fine dining preferred).
• Hold current alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state authorities.
