Promontory Club’s Retail department is currently seeking candidates for part-time Retail Sales Associate for our Sport Boutique.

The purpose of the Retail Sales Associate is to assist in providing production knowledge and sales support to Members and guests with Promontory Club’s retail standards and expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Provide accurate and timely information regarding retail shop and services.
• Utilize the elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance.
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise.
• Maintains an attractive and orderly appearance in the retail outlet.
• Provide the highest level of customer service.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
One to two years’ experience in customer service;
Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills;
Previous cash handling experience;
Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with Members, guests, co-workers, and management. Previous work experience in retail industry.

PREVIOUS

EXPERIENCE:

Basic computer skills; previous experience working with a Point-of-Sale System is preferred; must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time; ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and the ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays, and weekends when needed; must be able to work in hot and cold environments.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Wages start at $23/hr and will be determined upon employment and will be commensurate with experience.
