Inventory Control Specialist

Nordstrom is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate, reliable stock levels in our on-site retail environment. In this role, you'll perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and support merchandise flow across sales floors and stockrooms. You'll use RF scanners and inventory systems to track, adjust, and report on inventory, partnering closely with sales and operations teams. Responsibilities

• Perform daily and scheduled cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and shrink issues.
• Use RF scanners and systems to track, adjust, and reconcile stock.
• Coordinate with sales, receiving, and stock teams to support product flow.
• Monitor backroom and sales floor stockroom organization and labeling.
• Prepare inventory reports and communicate findings to store leadership.
• Support physical inventories and audits, following company procedures.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and compliance standards at all times.
• Identify process issues and recommend improvements to inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure product availability and strong customer service.
