Retail Store, Retail Associate​/ Customer Service

Nordstrom is hiring for a New Store Opening in our Retail Trade business, offering opportunities across sales, customer service, merchandising, and operations. In this role, you'll help launch a new location, creating exceptional experiences for every customer through personalized service, styling support, and efficient checkout. You'll assist with merchandising, inventory, and visual standards to present a compelling sales floor. Working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, you'll collaborate across departments, learn Nordstrom's renowned service standards, and build skills for growth in retail, operations, or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service on the sales floor and at checkout
• Support all aspects of the new store opening, including setup and launch activities
• Operate POS systems accurately, handling cash, card payments, and returns
• Maintain merchandising and visual standards to reflect Nordstrom's brand
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory
• Support omnichannel services such as online order pickup and ship-from-store
• Follow loss prevention, safety, and compliance procedures
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to meet sales and service goals
• Respond to customer needs, styling questions, and product inquiries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
