POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Representative drives growth by turning opportunities into impact. This role combines strategic prospecting, authentic relationship building, and consultative selling to connect organizations with Afterburner’s leadership solutions. You’ll identify and engage prospective clients, uncover their most pressing challenges, and deliver tailored recommendations that demonstrate how Afterburner transforms leadership potential into measurable results. Success in this role isn’t just about closing deals, it’s about creating partnerships that help clients think strategically, act decisively, and lead flawlessly.

OBJECTIVES
  • Generate opportunities through disciplined outbound calls daily, achieving authentic live conversations with our prospective clients to sustain pipeline velocity and create and sustain engagement.
  • Lead purposeful client conversations that uncover challenges, align Afterburner solutions, and advance prospects through the sales cycle.
  • Qualify new leads weekly by identifying organizational pain points and positioning the Flawless Leadership℠ Keynote or corresponding workshops as tailored solutions.
  • Targeting a 30% close rate to consistently achieve the target of deal closes that are tied to performance and success within the role.
  • Deliver a flawless client experience through timely follow-up, professional communication, and proactive relationship management.
  • Build and sustain strong client partnerships that drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Capture and communicate customer insights to strengthen Afterburner’s Flawless Leadership℠ and Flawless Execution℠ offerings.

  • Operate with urgency and focus in high-demand, fast-moving environment without compromising quality or professionalism.
  • Apply the Afterburner sales framework with precision, adapting messaging to each client’s unique context.
  • Meets or exceeds outbound activity targets, consistently driving sales calls to sustain sales momentum.
  • Leverages Hub Spot CRM effectively, maintaining accurate, detailed notes that support pipeline visibility and team alignment.
  • Employs creative outreach techniques—including personalized video messages and thoughtful touch points to engage and convert prospects.
  • Maintains current knowledge of Afterburner’s product suite and pricing to ensure accurate, value-driven recommendations.
  • Brings composure, optimism, and professionalism to every client interaction, creating confidence and trust.
  • Masters the complete outbound sales process through disciplined execution and continuous improvement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • GED or high school diploma preferred
  • At least 1 year sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated experience being a top performer in some arena (such as athletics, sales, education, etc.)
