Landscape Construction Foreman

• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team on landscaping and excavation projects.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, backhoes, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Schedule and manage daily crew assignments to maximize productivity.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and local codes.
• Conduct on-site inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Communicate daily progress, issues, and resource needs to management.
• Assist with material and equipment procurement and ensure proper care of company equipment.
• Train new crew members in proper techniques, safety, and company standards.
• Handle basic troubleshooting of equipment or site issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite, including proper disposal of debris.

• Experience:
  
  4+ years in landscaping, excavation, or construction with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

  Skills:
  
  Comfortable operating heavy equipment safely (excavators, skid steers, backhoes, trucks).
• Leadership
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to lead crews, resolve conflicts, and enforce company standards.
• Irrigation Knowledge:
  Hands-on Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, and smart controller). Ability to design irrigation plans and trouble shoot issues.

  Ability to read plans, measure materials, and follow project specifications.
• Licenses:
  Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Safety Knowledge: OSHA knowledge and commitment to jobsite safety.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand for long periods.
• Other:
  Strong communication, Integrity, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with projecting bidding is preferred, but not required.

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience $28.00-$33.50
