Irrigation Technician - Golf Maintenance - Pete Dye Canyon Course

Promontory Club is a private, high‑end mountain club located in Park City, Utah, offering world‑class golf, a variety of amenities, and a multi‑generational membership. The club operates three courses, including the Pete Dye Canyon Course, the Jack Nicklaus Painted Valley Signature course, and The Hills, a Forrest Richardson designed 18‑hole par‑3 course.

• Performs preventative maintenance on the irrigation system.
• Determines wet and dry areas for adjustments of sprinkler heads.
• Properly inventories and stocks all irrigation parts and tools.
• Maintains working knowledge of pump station maintenance requirements.
• Operates, maintains, and repairs a complex irrigation system, including leaks on the distribution lines, valve risers, electrical system, and irrigation control wire.
• Reports any serious irrigation issues to the Superintendent and maintains a daily log of completed repairs.
• Prioritizes irrigation issues and uses time efficiently.
• Conducts monthly checks of all sprinkler heads on the entire golf facility.
• Routinely inspects irrigation system components to ensure the system is operating properly.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Winter responsibilities include snow removal throughout Promontory Club parking lots.

Total Compensation $25–$30/hr depending on experience, and is benefit‑eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance.
