Maintenance Technician

This position primary function will be to carry out the servicing and maintenance of all Resorts West properties. This includes monitoring of usage by guests and owners. This person will act as an interface on occasion between Resorts West, Property Services Department, and their guests and owners. He or she must have a personal vehicle to provide transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance pre-checks prior to owner or guest arrivals.
  • Perform general maintenance departure-checks upon owner or guest departure.
  • Perform weekly inspection checks on assigned properties and return completed checklist daily.
  • Monitor and enforce Resorts West policies regarding property usage.
  • Maintain detailed records of service performed in all units, according to the daily time sheet.
  • Communicate the completion and progress of assigned work orders.
  • Perform maintenance work as assigned by the Project Coordinator and/or Property Operations Manager including by not limited to Audio/Visual, Electrical, Basic Plumbing, Mechanics, and/or Appliance repair.
  • Participate in snow removal around managed properties as is needed.
  • Responsible for tracking and up keep of assigned tool inventory.
  • Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting credit care and purchase account usage to Project Coordinator. (attached to daily time sheet)
  • Heavy lifting (upwards of 75 lbs) and otherwise strenuous work may apply such as moving furniture, lifting tools, and maintenance supplies etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

He or she should possess the personal skills necessary to represent Resorts West in a professional manner whenever interfacing with guests, owners and industry peers. Basic organizational skills are required which will allow him or her to effectively record and catalogue documents on work performed. He or she should possess a basic working knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair including but not limited to HVAC systems, radiant heating systems, and boiler systems.
