We are seeking an attentive and organized Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining efficient operations by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring high-quality packing standards, and contributing to overall warehouse maintenance. Reporting to the Warehouse & Inventory Manager, you will have a significant impact on our operations and contribute to the critical inbound and outbound processes of our company.
ResponsibilitiesReceiving
- Assist in receiving shipments from vendors and customers.
- Inspect the quality of items upon receipt and prior to transferring to outbound warehouse functions.
- Support the RMA process by receiving and processing customer returns.
- Clean, pack, wrap and crate medical equipment, ensuring completeness and readiness for national or international transit.
- Participate in packing processes, ensuring products are properly packaged.
- Coordinate and expedite outbound parcel shipments in a timely manner.
- Arrange and ship outbound freight shipments promptly.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries concerning order status.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and office environment.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including trash removal, sweeping, and restroom cleaning as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics or a related field will be a plus.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using inventory software and tools.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items up to 100lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capable of excelling in high-paced environments.
- Willing to accommodate morning and/or evening shifts as necessary.
- Open to working on weekends when required.
