A global manufacturing organization with a long-standing reputation for innovation and quality is seeking a Manager, Sales & Use Tax to lead its indirect tax function. This role owns end-to-end sales and use tax compliance while partnering cross-functionally to support business initiatives, mitigate risk, and drive process improvements.

• Lead all sales and use tax compliance activities, including timely and accurate filings across multiple jurisdictions
• Manage sales and use tax audits, including preparation, negotiations, and risk mitigation
• Research complex indirect tax issues and provide clear guidance to internal stakeholders
• Partner with Finance, AP, Procurement, Customer Service, IT, and external advisors to ensure cohesive tax reporting
• Support and enhance tax processes through SAP S/4
  
  HANA and exemption certificate management systems
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of public accounting experience, including 5+ years focused on sales and use tax
• Strong proficiency in SAP S/4
  
  HANA and advanced Excel
• Audit management and cross-functional leadership experience
• VAT exposure is a plus
