$40.30/hr - $60.45/hr

$2,500 sign‑on bonus!

• Perform a comprehensive array of highly specialized, non‑invasive ultrasound procedures for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide complete, accurate images for screening, diagnosis, and detection.
• Document patient history and complete encounter forms for billing.
• Communicate test results and “Wet Read” reports to physicians and other departments.
• Explain the test procedures to patients and assist with positioning.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety hazard labeling, infection control, and proper transducer cleaning and sterilization.
• Ensure adequate supplies and maintain equipment for the Ultrasound Department.
• Assist department leadership with scheduling exams, phone calls, and in‑service meetings.
• Keep up to date with the latest ultrasound developments, maintain professional accreditation, and participate in continuous quality improvement projects.

• Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS) within 3 months unless not required.
• Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with OB/GYN issued by ARDMS within 3 months unless not required.
• Vascular Technologist (RVT) registration issued by ARDMS within 3 months unless not required.
• Vascular Sonography (VS) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 3 months unless not required.
• Vascular Specialist (RVS) registration issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 3 months unless not required.
• Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS‑AE) registration with Adult Echo issued by ARDMS within 18 months unless not required.
• Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registration issued by CCI within 18 months unless not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved School of Ultrasound, able to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age group patients; must be registered or Registry Eligible.

• Excellent skills in performing abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, and small‑parts ultrasound examinations.
• In-depth knowledge of pathology related to the aforementioned modalities.

• Requires good judgment, reliability, independence, and flexibility with working hours and on‑call rotation.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance; for heavier patient lifts, use patient‑handling equipment.
