We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to join our Ophthalmology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting and possess knowledge of medical records, scheduling, and administrative support.

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently using an electronic medical records system
• Obtain and verify insurance information
• Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel
• Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service delivery

• Experience with computers and electronic medical records software
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology, preferred
• Experience in medical scheduling or receptionist duties
• Ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively

PAY RANGE: $18.00 to $23.25
