SUBJECT:
Clinical Instructor for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Course

We are seeking passionate and dedicated
Clinical Instructors to support our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course for the 26-27 school year. The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for guiding and instructing students through the clinical portion (50-60 hours) of their CNA training, ensuring they gain the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience required to succeed in their healthcare careers.

• Clinical Instructor will complete at least one clinical group rotation of 50-60 hours
• Clinical rotations take place from approximately January-March 2027
• One Clinical group rotation takes place on Wednesday (3:45 pm - 8:15 pm) and Saturday (7:30 am - 3:30 pm) every other week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• 4 hours of Alzheimer's training
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with state CNA training requirements and regulations

• Provide clinical instruction to CNA students in a clinical setting, adhering to state and institutional guidelines.
• Demonstrate and supervise essential CNA skills, including patient care, personal hygiene, infection control, and vital signs.
• Oversee student performance, offer constructive feedback, and assess skills.
• Communicate with CNA instructor to ensure students meet program requirements for clinicals.
• Prepare clinical sites and ensure a safe, conducive learning environment for students.
• Evaluate and document student progress in line with the program's curriculum.
