We are seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join our team in our Park Ridge, NJ office. The role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.

• Leading audit engagements from initial planning through final deliverables, including scoping, risk assessment, fieldwork supervision, and completion procedures for healthcare and affordable housing clients.
• Managing client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact on engagements, responding to client inquiries, and addressing accounting and audit-related issues in a timely manner.
• Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns, reviewing their work for quality and accuracy, and providing timely feedback and development support.
• Reviewing audit work papers, financial statements, and reports to ensure compliance with professional and firm standards.
• Evaluating internal controls and identifying areas of risk, inefficiency, or opportunities for improvement.
• Preparing complex sections of audit documentation, including working papers, financial statement disclosures, and draft reports.
• Researching and resolving complex accounting, auditing, and reporting issues using authoritative guidance and firm resources.
• Collaborating with partners and managers to develop audit strategies and improve engagement efficiency and client service.
• Assisting in staff performance evaluations and contributing to talent development initiatives.
• Ensuring projects are completed within established time frames and budgets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable professional standards and firm policies.
• Meeting project deadlines and managing time efficiently across multiple engagements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
  Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years progressive audit experience; previous public accounting experience required.
• CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Healthcare and affordable housing audit experience required.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead staff while working collaboratively in a team environment.
• The willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, initiative, and leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software such as Quick Books, Case Ware, Pro System fx Engagement, CCH, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Maintains a high level of professionalism and consistently demonstrates respect for others.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Work authorization required; we do not sponsor or transfer work visas.

Salary ranges for this role are $80,000 – $110,000, depending on experience and market. In addition to base salary, compensation includes performance-based incentives, a rotating 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a participation benefit to the firm’s ESOP. The firm also offers paid time off, paid study time for CPA certification, and access to continuing education programs.
