Crescat Capital is a hedge fund firm seeking an highly organized Executive Administrative Assistant to directly support the Founder and CEO. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can function independently in a fast-paced and demanding environment. This person will be detail-oriented, have strong verbal and written English skills, math skills, be trustworthy, professional, and have the highest ethical standards.
Location, Dress Code, Office Hours:
Remote initially with the expectation to be at a Cherry Creek North, Denver, Colorado office location within one year.
Professional business attire required for video conference calls and when ultimately in the office.
Primary Office
Hours:
7:30 to 4:15.
Occasional extra hours required
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily comprehensive support to the CEO, who also serves as Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager to Crescat’s hedge funds.
- Manage the CEO’s calendar: schedule and prioritize meetings
- Manage CEO’s social media: X, Linked In, others
- Screening CEOs incoming email, phone calls, and text
- Flag important emails from clients, prospects, investee company CEOs, and media opportunities
- Manage and organize email inbox, including blocking and unsubscribing
- Assist with hiring and recruiting campaigns
- Serve in the front office reception area and greet clients and prospective clients once the office is established
- Perform some office manager duties
- Occasional trips to local Fed Ex and UPS
- Proofreading of investment letters, website text, and other marketing materials
- Manage business contacts by updating/adding to Office contact and CRM databases
- Serve as a key professional liaison between the CEO and clients, prospects, employees, CEOs of investee companies, and other parties
- Organize and arrange both onsite and offsite meetings
- Arrange travel needs and create complete travel itineraries for all CEO’s trips
- Help plan and organize meeting schedule at various external conferences
- Manage, organize and maintain accurate files in a digital environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent English, grammar, written and oral communication skills
- Excellent multi-platform video conference skills
- Strong social media experience and aptitude
- 8+ years of Executive Assistant/Administrator experience with hedge funds, private equity, or financial services
- Superior organizational skills and record-keeping, and strong attention to detail
- Calm, pro-active, and organized under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Adaptable, flexible to change, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with both remote and in-person parties
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Office, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related software
- Liberal Arts and/or Business/Financial College Degree required.
