We are seeking a Staff Writer to contribute original written content across digital platforms. This role focuses on clear, accurate, and well‑researched writing
, ranging from short‑form posts to longer explanatory or investigative pieces, depending on experience and availability.

Writers in this role work collaboratively with editors and researchers to develop stories grounded in facts, public records, and verifiable sources.

Reporting & Writing

• Write short‑form and long‑form articles on political, civic, and institutional topics.
• Translate complex issues into accessible, reader‑focused language.
• Support coverage with research, sourcing, and citations where appropriate.

• Pitch story ideas and angles based on current events, documents, or emerging issues.
• Collaborate with editors to refine scope, framing, and structure.
• Revise drafts based on editorial feedback.

• Conduct background research using public records, primary documents, and reputable secondary sources.
• Assist in fact‑checking and source verification.
• Maintain clear distinctions between reporting, analysis, and opinion when assigned.
