Located in the heart of our community, Grande Smiles Dentistry has been providing exemplary dental care and services for many years. This opportunity is not a remote job and requires the Dental Assistant to work on-site at our dynamic and patient‑centric clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities- Provide quality care and services to patients by assisting dentists and other staff in a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties.
- Affect the efficiency and productivity of patient flow through timely, accurate and professional preparation of patients and patient information.
- Take and process x-rays and perform other diagnostic tests under the direction of a dentist.
- Ensure that all necessary tools and materials are in place for the dentist prior to every treatment or procedure.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient.
- Organize and maintain clean work areas and disinfect treatment rooms according to OSHA regulations.
- Assist with front office tasks as needed, including patient scheduling, billing, and record‑keeping.
- Provide instructions to patients regarding postoperative care and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
- Participate in the assessment of the treatment planning by taking patient histories and maintaining dental records.
- Manage supply inventory and place orders for new supplies as needed.
- Build trusting relationships with patients by providing empathetic and considerate care during treatments.
- Comply with all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Radiation safety certification or successful completion of a radiation safety course.
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a dental assistant training program.
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and protocol.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for using practice management software.
- Flexibility to accommodate a variety of schedules and hours.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development in dental assisting.
- Empathy and the ability to make patients feel comfortable are essential.
