Oversight and training is in place to ensure we are offering a rigorous, scholar-centered, classical education program including high expectations, values and virtues and providing scholars an environment of engaged learning.
The Gifted & Talented (GT) Coordinator leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of gifted education services in alignment with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) rules and the Exceptional Children's Educational Act (ECEA). This role ensures equitable identification, high-quality programming, and compliance with state reporting requirements. The coordinator collaborates with teachers, administrators, families, and students to support advanced learning pathways and talent development.
The Student Support Team (SST) Coordinator leads and manages the school's early-intervention process for students who need academic, behavioral, or social-emotional support. This role ensures that SST procedures are consistent, data-driven, and aligned with district policies and state guidelines. The coordinator works closely with teachers, administrators, specialists, and families to design and monitor targeted interventions that help students succeed.
The Reading Interventionist provides targeted, evidence-based literacy instruction to students who are below grade level or at risk for reading difficulties. This role supports Colorado's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and the READ Act by delivering high-quality interventions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teachers and families to improve student outcomes. The interventionist uses data to identify needs, implement research-based strategies, and ensure students receive the support necessary to become proficient readers.
Qualifications/
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and passing scores on the appropriate Colorado Educator Proficiency Assessments
-or- a Colorado Teaching Certificate. - DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card / Background and Criminal History Clearance.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the Common Core Standards (2020 Colorado Academic Standards)
-OR- a willingness to learn such standards. - Working knowledge and understanding of Classical curricula and learning
-OR- a willingness and desire to learn the Classical model of education. - Working knowledge and understanding of Mathematical concepts and experience with Saxon Math programs.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Charlotte Mason's educational philosophy and methodology
-OR- a willingness to better understand Miss Mason's educational philosophy and methodology. - Working knowledge and understanding of the Common Core Standards
