Position: Cultural Art & Enrichment Instructor (PT)- Art Instructor

Job Summary Under general supervision, this position is responsible for designing and implementing high-quality enrichment classes at Parker Arts. Utilizing effective age-appropriate education techniques and strong classroom management, the Enrichment Instructor creates and maintains a safe, creative, and inspiring class environment that encourages artistic exploration, skill development, and meaningful engagement for all participants.

• This position performs duties deemed to be safety sensitive. Employees holding this position participate in pre-employment and random drug testing under Town’s policies*

• Design and deliver classes catered to youth and/or adults.
• Facilitate classes, workshops, and/or camps, ensuring they are safe, inclusive, and educational for all participants.
• Demonstrate curriculum effectively to provide understanding of instruction-practices and encourages participants to explore their abilities.
• Identifies and purchases necessary instructional materials within established budget guidelines
• Independently instructs, leads, and manages classes with minimal supervision
• Maintains accurate activity records, documents class attendance, and prepares reports as requested.
• Creates and sustains a positive, inclusive, and enjoyable learning environment while engaging with participants in a professional and supportive manner.
• Coordinates and schedules substitute instructors for assigned classes within timelines established by the Education Manager.
• Supports the philosophies of the Town of Parker’s Cultural Department and adheres to all applicable policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
