Are you a Special Education Teacher passionate about supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral needs? We're seeking an experienced educator to join an Elementary Affective Needs (AN) Center-Based Program in the beautiful Parker, Colorado area.

• Up to $55/hour
• Elementary school setting
• Leadership role overseeing classroom operations and support staff
• Small, specialized program focused on student growth and success
• Supportive and well-funded district
• Collaborative SPED, behavioral, and mental health teams
• Interviewing immediately

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• 36-week contract
• Elementary Affective Needs classroom
• Center-based setting
• Medium to high behavioral support environment
• Start ASAP

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in academics and social-emotional learning
• Adapt curriculum and accommodations to meet diverse student needs
• Support students in achieving both academic and behavioral goals

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention strategies
• Collect and analyze behavioral and academic data
• Foster a structured, supportive classroom environment

• Supervise and support Educational Assistants (EAs)
• Train staff on behavior plans, accommodations, and data collection
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, behavior specialists, and administrators
• Build strong relationships with students and families

• Develop and implement IEPs
• Facilitate IEP meetings
• Monitor compliance and student progress
• Maintain ongoing communication with families and caregivers

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License
• Minimum one year of experience under current licensure
• Experience working with students with emotional, behavioral, or affective needs preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Must meet all state and local requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
• State Teacher Certification;

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
