Medical Director (Remote – Occasional Travel to Denver, CO)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm MST
Location: Fully remote with minimal travel (once per quarter, occasionally monthly)
Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr
OverviewWe’re seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide strategic and clinical leadership across behavioral health programs. This role oversees psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and clinical leaders to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise prescribing and clinical leadership teams.
- Drive implementation of evidence-based practices including MAT, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction.
- Oversee medical evaluations, admissions, and quality reviews.
- Ensure compliance with behavioral health and state regulatory standards.
- Collaborate across departments to align medical services with organizational strategy.
- Support technology and EHR integration for efficient clinical workflows.
- MD or DO with unrestricted (or eligible) Colorado medical license.
- 7+ years of relevant clinical and leadership experience.
- Strong background in behavioral health, crisis services, or integrated care.
- Compassionate, collaborative, and team-oriented leadership style.
