Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain automation scripts for container orchestration environments such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Design and deploy infrastructure services for identity & access management, networking, application security, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external platform consumers to ensure successful cloud-based platform implementation
- Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and hands‑on support for data migration, system troubleshooting, and cloud monitoring
- Support Dev Sec Ops practices and contribute to major platform updates and enhancements
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field(Master’s degree acceptable with 6+ years of experience)
- 8+ years of relevant Dev Ops or Cloud Infrastructure experience
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required at time of hire
- Proficiency with cloud platforms:
- Public: AWS, Azure
- Private: RHOSP (Red Hat Open Stack Platform), VMware Integrated Open Stack (VIO)
- Hands‑on experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Open Shift, or Rancher
- Use of automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, or Packer for infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git Lab, Jenkins, Puppet, or Chef
- Familiarity with IT security practices: encryption, certificate management, STIG, RMF, patching, and auditing
- Administration of production‑grade applications in virtualized/cloud environments using infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Knowledge of open source technologies including Rabbit
MQ, Redis, NGINX, Elasticsearch - Understanding of REST APIs, scalable networking, and cloud‑native application security
- Agile development experience preferred
- On‑site work or travel may be required depending on program or customer needs
