As a Flow Inventory Associate, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining Car Max’s best‑in‑class vehicle inventory and customer experience. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment and take pride in accuracy and organization.

• Maintain accurate inventory by following Car Max inventory processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to Car Max and prepare title packets for transfers.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring display areas are clean and organized.
• Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
• Execute photo station process for  listings.
• Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
• Follow Car Max Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Car Max driving standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.

$20.35 - $20.35

Car Max Associates are entitled to paid sick, vacation, and holiday time. Full‑time hourly and commission eligible associates earn up to 48 sick hours per year (accrued per pay period) and between 80 and 200 vacation hours per year after a 90‑day waiting period. Full‑time salaried associates receive paid time away with no specified limit for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc.
