Wire Harness Assembler

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing as a Wire Harness Assembler. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for assembling complex wire harnesses and electrical components that power cutting-edge aircraft and aerospace systems. We’re looking for detail-oriented individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical documentation in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wire lists, schematics, and work instructions to build wire harnesses to precise specifications.
- Select and prepare wires based on gauge, color, length, and markings; ensure proper compatibility with connectors and components.
- Route, bundle, and secure wires using lacing, cable ties, and clamps to create organized and durable assemblies.
- Perform soldering and crimping using hand tools, soldering irons, and pneumatic crimping equipment.
- Apply sealants, heat shrink tubing, and protective sleeving for environmental and mechanical protection.
- Conduct electrical testing including continuity and insulation resistance checks using multimeters and automated test systems.
- Inspect completed assemblies for compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and customer specifications.
- Accurately document work performed, test results, and report any discrepancies to quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while meeting production deadlines.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and improve assembly processes.
- 2+ years of experience in wire harness assembly or electrical component manufacturing
- Soldering experience required
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 soldering standards
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for electrical assembly
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in electronics or manufacturing is advantageous
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centennial, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
